This position is ideal for sales professionals who have a passion for sales (with a product that sells itself) who are able to think quickly & creatively on their feet. Here’s some of what you’ll be engaged in:
- Build and maintain your own book of business: manage your own leads by using online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/maintain your pipeline
- Make a high volume of sales calls to business owners across all verticals; initiate and coordinate the development of sales strategies to penetrate new merchant verticals
- Drive the sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory calls, assess business goals through qualifying, work with business owners to advance our network and advertising packages and close the deal
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals
Requirements:
- Strong organizational & follow-up skills
- Advanced computer proficiency (email, scanning, PDF, Word, etc)
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
- Valid Driver’s Licence, Valid Insurance & Reliable Vehicle
- Willingness to travel within your local area
- Resilience and ability to overcome objections
- Independent, self starter mentality
- PREFERRED: experience selling to small to medium sized businesses and local markets
- PREFERRED: has a “rolodex” of business owner contacts in the SMB space
- PREFERRED: prior face-to-face sales experience, with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment
Compensation:
- The freedom & flexibility of a work-from-home contractor position
- 20% commission on all sales (full sale price, not just profits)
